With the 911 Carrera T, Porsche says it is returning to the "purist" concept of the 1968 911 T: less weight, manual gearbox with shorter ratios, and rear-wheel drive with a limited-slip differential. The T stands for Touring. It only has two seats. It is for sale for 124,259 euros. At no additional cost, it can be ordered with a PDK automatic transmission and four seats.

Externally, it is distinguished by having a specific black skirt on the front bumper, the mirrors painted in metallic Agate grey, the 20-inch Carrera S wheels in Titanium grey, a finned grille on the rear hood, the sports exhaust with outlets in black colour and the distinctive anagrams of the version on both sides and on the rear of the car.
