The intention of Mercedes-Benz has been to make the C-Class, without being more uncomfortable, be more "sporty", to respond more quickly to the controls.

Regardless of whether the modifications are more or less obvious (yes it seems to me in the manual gearbox and direction, not so much in the suspension), the fact is that the Class C continues to have an outstanding active safety, no saloon of its size seems to me better in this sense. It is also a comfortable car with the suspension you have (the standard or the "sporty" option) and very pleasant to drive.
