There are two versions, depending on the size of the body: Maybach 57 and Maybach 62, the figures refer to the length in decimeters.
The engine is a twelve-cylinder 5.5-liter displacement with two turbochargers. It gives 550 hp and is distinguished above all by its elasticity. It is rear-wheel drive and has the same gearbox as other Mercedes, adapted to withstand the enormous force of the engine.
The shield with the double M is similar to the one from the past. Previously it stood for "Maybach-Motorenbau" (Maybach engine factory) and now "Maybach Manufaktur".
