The Land Rover Santana is an off-road car produced by Santana Motor in the Spanish town of Linares from 1958 to 1994. Although it is strongly based on the British Land Rover Defender and its predecessors, the Land Rover Series, they have had different evolutionary lines and the improvements and modifications applied to one could not reach the other until years later.
