The Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder is the convertible version of the Gallardo coupé with a folding canvas roof.  It has the same engine as the Gallardo LP560-4, a 5.2-litre V-shaped ten-cylinder longitudinally positioned in a central rear position. It produces 560 hp at 8,000 rpm. With it, the Gallardo LP560-4 Spider accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.0 s and reaches a top speed of 324 km/h. The top speed is very similar to that of the coupe version (325 km/h), while acceleration is three tenths of a second less.
