The all-wheel drive system changes according to the version. The Wrangler Sport and the Sahara have the so-called Command-Trac, while the Rubicon Jeep uses the Rock-Trac.

The Rubicon equipment, which is the most expensive of the range, is aimed at those who require the greatest capabilities in off-road driving. The Rock-Trac system has a gearbox with a higher ratio of reduction, more rigid axles, front and rear differential locks, disconnection of the front stabilizer bar to increase the travel of the wheels and stud tyres (BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T / A KM2) instead of the Bridgestone Dueler H/T´s.
